The Process

The first step is to get in touch- I try my best to accommodate every request.  

From here, your invited to come to our warm and friendly family house in Calverton. All we need is you and the person (or pet) you’d like casting. I’ll pop the kettle on...

The hand or foot is submerged into a mixture called alginate which then sets after around one minute- so don’t worry you don’t have to stay still for long! 

The Alginate is predominately made from seaweed and is 100% safe to use. It’s actually the same stuff used by dentists to take dental impressions 

You will then be given a choice of colours from which you can have your casts painted, so it’s time to get your design ideas together. 

We have a great range of frames available to choose from. Although frames are made at a standard size dependent on the room needed for the casts, additional sizes can also be ordered if needed. We also offer a variety of different mount colours 

Lastly we will discuss any optional extras you may require such as name plaques, photos or wooden name initials. 

Once you have made all your design decisions, thats it- leave everything else to me! It takes approx 4-5 weeks to make the completed frame, at which point you will be contacted to arrange collection at a time to suit you!
